Terms of Service

By creating an account or using theRuler ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

Notify us immediately at security@theruler.app if you suspect unauthorized access.

Don't misuse the Service. Specifically, don't: attempt to access other users' data, reverse-engineer the Service, send spam, upload malware, or use the Service for anything illegal.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You retain all rights to the content you upload. You grant us a limited license to host, store, and display that content solely to provide the Service.

You are responsible for the legality of content you upload.

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance.

All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing billing periods are honored at the prior price.

You may cancel your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms.

Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, theRuler is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts of Delaware.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
